Mr. P.S. Ramachandran, the founder and the brain behind the set-up of Ell Ess Engineering Pvt. Ltd. is a technocrat with vast experience in the liquid-solid filtration field. After completing his Mechanical Engg. Degree he worked in an Italian JV company M/s Eurestra (formerly Ballestra) as Works Manager and has fabricated, erected and commissioned many turnkey Oil Extraction, Soaps, detergent & fatty acid plants. In his 14 years long tenure with M/s Eurestra he realized the importance of filtration in process industries and the losses incurred due to improper selection and use. 

Mr. Ramachandran established Ell Ess in the year 1987 with a motto to develop indigenously custom-built filters with the underlying principles of :

¤ Surface Filtration
¤ Clean-in-place technology
¤ Quick pay-back period

With this in mind he developed his first successful filter for Brine Polishing application for Membrane based Caustic Soda plant supplied by M/s De Nora, Italy. From that time onwards Ell Ess Engg. Pvt. Ltd. is the sole 100 % indigenous filter supplier to all De Nora plants in India. After this there was no looking back and Mr. Ramachandran has got to his credit the development of more than 10 import substitute filters. 

Developing & supplying filters to various industries to meet the customers’ requirement/government norms and achieving high productivity standards enabling the Indian Process Industry to become globally competitive & making filter operator friendly keeping operator safety in mind, is the main objective of this Technocrat and ELL ESS.
  

Inheriting the knowledge of Filtration from Mr. P.S. Ramchandran his son, Mr. R. Ramasubramanian, a mechanical engineer by himself, is all set to be the next generation technocrat & filtration solution provider. He has proved his skills beyond doubts by setting up the plant for manufacturing of the Welded Wedge Wire Screens in India through our sister concern M/s Vee Slot Filter Pvt. Ltd. through the aegis of M/s Euroslot, France. This most sophisticated filter elements, which are widely used in European countries for very critical filtration applications are available in India indigenously at affordable prices.

As a young, energetic and highly intellectual entrepreneur, Mr. R. Ramasubramanian has already proved to be great helping hand to Mr. Ramchandran for developing new filters in recent years.
